Now, all of these colors are beautiful, but you may want to spice up your Spark by adding a custom skin, some stickers or decals. Thanks to some generous people in the Spark community and some clever capitalists, there are many templates available so you can put just about any design on your drone. Some are free and some you may have to pay for.
Here is a roundup of some of the best FREE and paid templates I’ve found as of May 2019. Enjoy!
Spark Skin (.studio3 cut file to use with a Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter) – uses a stock 305×305 sheet. Can be used on drone, batteries and remote control.

Here is a tutorial on how to make a DIY skin. I’m not sure what kind of adhesive decal he is using here, but he heats it up with a hair dryer and then cuts it to the correct shape.
Another DIY technique you can use to decorate your drone is by Hydro Dripping it. Get a big plastic tub, fill it with water and then use spray paint to spray the top of the water with various colors.
If you don’t want to make your own skin, there’s no shortage of places to buy custom premade templates. Amazon, eBay, Etsy and more. Another popular site is DecalGirl.com. Here is a link to their DJI Spark Skins section https://www.decalgirl.com/skins/dji-spark-skins
Personally, my favorite one I have seen is the Flying Tigers design (Curtiss P-40 Warhawk). You can grab it on eBay here.
I’ll keep my eye out for more free templates and update this post when I find them. If you know of one that hasn’t been listed, please leave a comment below.
